Voice Feedback – Audio Feedback Form, Voice Recorder & Voice Testimonials
v2.2.4 · by bPlugins
Voice recorder feedback form for WordPress. Visitors record audio messages, voice comments, testimonials or bug reports. No login, no typing.
About this plugin
Most people never fill in a feedback form. Typing is the reason.
Someone spots a broken page, has a question, or wants to tell you something useful. Then they see an empty text box and close the tab. On a phone it is worse.
Voice Feedback replaces that text box with a record button. Your visitor taps it, speaks for ten seconds, listens back, and sends. No account, no name, no email address unless you ask for one. The voice message appears in your WordPress admin with a play button next to it.
Activate the plugin and a voice recorder is live on your site. No API key, no external account, no setup wizard. Recordings are saved on your own server.

Why a voice recorder beats a text box
- Speaking is much faster than typing, especially on a phone.
- People say more when they talk. A text box gets “doesn’t work”. A voice message gets “I clicked the download button on the pricing page and nothing happened”.
- You hear the tone. Frustration, confusion and enthusiasm do not survive a one-line text field.
- Anyone can use it, including visitors who find typing slow or difficult, and older users who avoid forms entirely.
Seven things people build with it
1. A voice feedback form
Put a record button on any page and ask an open question. Visitors answer out loud instead of writing a paragraph.
2. Voice testimonials
A spoken testimonial is harder to fake and easier to believe than a block of text. Ask happy customers to record thirty seconds, and collect them in the Voice Library.
3. Audio comments on blog posts
Add a voice comment box under your articles as an alternative, or an addition, to the standard WordPress comment form.
4. Voice bug reports
A visitor describes what they clicked, in their own words, instead of trying to write a bug ticket. You hear exactly where they got stuck.
5. Customer feedback after a purchase
Drop the block on a thank-you page. Ask what nearly stopped them buying. You will get answers you would never get from a star rating.
6. Course and training feedback
Students record their thoughts on a lesson instead of filling in a survey nobody completes.
7. A voicemail line for your website
Podcasters, radio shows, coaches and churches can let listeners leave a voice message, a question or a shout-out, straight from the website. No phone number needed.
How the voice recorder works
- A record button appears on your site, as a floating drawer, a Gutenberg block, or a shortcode.
- The visitor records. They can play it back and re-record before sending, so nothing embarrassing gets submitted by accident.
- The audio message is saved to your own site and listed in Voice Library, with a player, a resolved marker, and a delete button.
Nothing is uploaded to an external service. The recordings stay on your server.
Where the record button can appear
- Floating drawer: shows site-wide, on by default, one toggle to switch it off.
- Gutenberg block: drops a voice recorder into any post or page.
- Shortcode: generated from the admin, for Elementor, Divi, Bricks, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Oxygen, Breakdance and the Classic Editor.
Who it is for
- Agencies and freelancers: let clients leave voice notes on a staging or review page.
- SaaS, plugin and theme makers: collect bug reports and feature requests in the user’s own words.
- Online shops: hear why customers bought, or why they almost did not.
- Course creators, schools and coaches: quick spoken feedback after each lesson.
- Bloggers, podcasters and creators: audio comments, listener questions and voice testimonials.
Free features
- Voice recording with playback and re-record. No account needed to submit.
- Anonymous feedback by default. No name, no email, no login.
- Voice Library. Every audio message in one admin screen, with playback, resolve and delete.
- Spam protection. Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA and rate limiting, free, with no add-on to buy.
- Optional email gate. Ask for a name and email before recording, if you want to be able to reply.
- Full styling control. Colours, typography, padding and button text, so the recorder matches your theme.
- Mobile first. Designed for phones, where most voice feedback is actually recorded.
- No personal data collected by default. It records a voice message and nothing else.
Voice Feedback Pro
Want to know the moment feedback arrives, or see what the visitor saw? Pro adds:
- Email notifications. Get an email the moment an audio message arrives, with the recording attached. Customise the subject and body.
- Screen recording. The visitor records their screen along with their voice, so you see exactly what they saw. Ideal for bug reports.
- Display triggers. Show the recorder after a scroll depth, at the bottom of the page, after X seconds, or when a section comes into view.
- Hide on scroll up. Keep the page clean while people are reading.
- Position control. Place the floating button wherever you want.
- Advanced customisation. Full colour, background, typography and responsive control.

External Services
This plugin connects to the following external services. Connections are made only from the plugin’s admin dashboard pages, except for Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs on the front end only when you enable spam protection.
