TapHuman – Gamified CAPTCHA & Bot Protection
v2.7.7 · by Kate
Stop bots with gamified, privacy-first CAPTCHAs. Zero telemetry. Zero tracking. Powered by cryptographic Proof-of-Work. One-click setup.
About this plugin
TapHuman replaces annoying, privacy-invasive CAPTCHAs with interactive micro-games that delight your users while silently running cryptographic Proof-of-Work puzzles in the background. Bots are stopped mathematically — no behavioral tracking, no fingerprinting, no cookies.
Why TapHuman?
- Zero Telemetry – Absolute GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy compliance out of the box. No tracking cookies, no behavioral data, no PII collection.
- Polymorphic UI – Our system randomly rotates which game is served, destroying the ROI of writing automated solvers.
- Cryptographic Security – While your user plays a 3-second game, the SDK solves a computationally expensive Proof-of-Work puzzle in the background.
- 100% ADA/WCAG Compliant – Native screen-reader support and keyboard-only navigation with a rate-limited accessibility bypass.
- One-Click Setup – API keys are auto-provisioned. No dashboard signup required.
Works With
- WordPress Login, Registration, Lost Password, and Comments forms

- Check that the plugin is activated and at least one form placement is enabled in Settings TapHuman CAPTCHA.
- If you checked “Disable for Logged-In Users”, test in an Incognito/Private window.
- If you are using a caching or minification plugin (like WP Rocket, Autoptimize, or W3 Total Cache), add
app.taphuman.ioto your caching plugin’s exclusion list.
