Sync Sage 100

v1.0.3 · by Fahad Mahmood

A user friendly plugin to synchronize Sage 100 data into WordPress with API endpoints and manual import.

About this plugin

Sync Sage 100 helps you bring data exported from Sage 100 into WordPress. After activation a Sync Sage menu appears in your dashboard. Open it to browse the folders on your server, pick the export file you want to work with (.xlsx, .xml or .csv files are listed), and load the file to see its columns.

Free features

  • Server folder browser with valid / writable status for every folder.
  • One click file selection.
  • Reads .xlsx exports and lists all columns so you can choose the relevant fields.

Pro features (plug and play)

The Pro version is a single pro folder inside the plugin directory. When the folder exists, these features switch on automatically. Remove it and the free features keep working.

  • Import tab: map Sage columns to WordPress user fields (email, username, first and last name, display name, website, bio, role and a Sage ID).
  • Dry run first, then batch import with a progress bar and a log of skipped rows and errors.
  • CSV and XML files besides XLSX.
  • Secure REST API endpoint so Sage or a script can push rows to WordPress (off by default, key shown once, only a hash is stored).
  • Safe by design: administrators are never changed by an import, roles that can manage users are never offered, passwords are never changed.

Security

Settings are saved only for administrators, requests are protected by nonces, the file picker accepts only files from the folders it displays, and all output is escaped.
