Shopper’s Mind

v1.1.1 · by Shopper's Mind

WooCommerce export for Shopper's Mind platforms (ceneje.si, jeftinije.hr, idealno.rs, idealno.ba), add CERTIFIED SHOP® Trustmark and much more.

About this plugin

Export your WooCommerce products through a generated XML feed to Shopper’s Mind comparison shopping platforms (ceneje.si, jeftinije.hr, idealno.rs, idealno.ba).
You can exclude “Out of Stock” products, map additional product attributes (gender, color, size, age group, brand),
define delivery costs, a free delivery threshold and delivery times, protect the feed with an access token,
and add the CERTIFIED SHOP® Trustmark, Pop-up and Floater to your web shop.

The feed uses the native WooCommerce GTIN/EAN field (WooCommerce 9.2+) and the native Brands taxonomy (WooCommerce 9.6+) when they are filled in.

The Trustmark can be placed with the “CERTIFIED SHOP® Trustmark” widget or the [shoppers_mind_trustmark] shortcode.

How the feed is generated

The feed URL stays the same. Behind it, the plugin keeps a stored copy of the feed and rebuilds it in the background (with WooCommerce’s Action Scheduler) a few minutes after product, stock, price or settings changes, and at least every 6 hours. Rebuilds after changes are at least 5 minutes apart; for large catalogues the gap grows with the build time (ten times the last build’s duration), so background work stays small even when products change all day. Fetching the feed therefore costs the shop’s server almost nothing, however large the catalogue is. The stored copy is only reachable through the feed URL, so the optional access token still applies. The settings page shows when the feed was last built and has a “Rebuild now” button. If background tasks do not run on a site (for example WP-Cron is disabled without a replacement), the feed is built on every request as in earlier versions. On sites translated with WPML or TranslatePress, the stored copy holds the default language; a feed requested in another language (for example with &lang=hr, on the language’s own domain or under /hr/) is built on every request, as in earlier versions.

Support tools: wp shoppers-mind feed status and wp shoppers-mind feed rebuild [--sync].

Which products are exported

Published simple products and the variations of published variable products. Prices are exported as entered in WooCommerce, exactly as in version 1.0. Shops that enter prices without VAT can switch the “Prices in the feed” setting to export the price including VAT; agree this with Shopper’s Mind first, because Shopper’s Mind may already be adding VAT to your prices. Left out: products hidden from the catalogue, password-protected products, products without a price, disabled variations, and (when the option is on) products that are out of stock. Products on backorder are exported with stock “preorder”.

Descriptions are exported as plain text: HTML tags, page-builder shortcodes, scripts, styles, navigation and footer blocks are removed. Only attributes marked “Visible on the product page” are exported. The EAN is read from common EAN plugins first, then from the WooCommerce GTIN field, then from the attribute chosen in the settings.

External services

This plugin connects to the Shopper’s Mind service (https://smind.si, script host cpx.smind.si) to display the CERTIFIED SHOP® features. Nothing is sent unless the matching option is enabled on the plugin’s CERTIFIED SHOP® settings tab.

  • Trustmark (badge): loads a script from cpx.smind.si on every front-end page. The request carries your CERTIFIED SHOP® ID and the visitor’s IP address and browser details, as with any web request.
  • Floating bar: loads a script from cpx.smind.si on every front-end page, with your CERTIFIED SHOP® ID.
  • Pop-up: loads a script from cpx.smind.si on the WooCommerce order-received page, with your CERTIFIED SHOP® ID.

Service provider: Shopper’s Mind. Terms and privacy policy: https://smind.si

The product XML feed is generated on your own site and only fetched by Shopper’s Mind when you register its URL on their platform.
