RiderX Delivery Sync
v1.0.63 · by riderx
Two-way sync between WooCommerce orders and the RiderX delivery platform, including live delivery rate quotes at checkout.
About this plugin
RiderX Delivery Sync connects your WooCommerce store to the RiderX delivery platform. It quotes live delivery rates at checkout and dispatches paid orders to RiderX for fulfilment, keeping order delivery status in sync.
Features:
- Live delivery rate quotes shown as a WooCommerce shipping method (classic and block checkout).
- Compact shipping label with distance and estimated time; detailed price metadata remains available.
- Automatic setup in shipping zones covering the pickup country, with merchant opt-out.
- Full street address in the classic cart shipping calculator.
- Automatic dispatch of paid RiderX orders, or opt-in hotel approval with manual forwarding.
- Vienna postcode zone pricing independent of the provider quote and internal contract reference.
- Configurable weekly delivery date/time windows, lead time, booking horizon and closed dates.
- Price-free scheduled-delivery emails to customers and completion notifications to the hotel.
- Customer delivery status on protected WooCommerce order pages and tracking links in customer emails.
- Configurable business name, pickup location and credentials.
- Works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
This plugin communicates with the RiderX delivery service to obtain rates and create deliveries. A RiderX account and API credentials are required.
Hotel workflow
Enable the optional Hotel workflow tab only after configuring agreed gross customer zone prices and weekly windows. Zone syntax: Zone name | 1010,1020 | 7.90 (example only). Postcodes are unique Vienna districts 1010–1230. Window syntax: 1 | 09:00-11:00,13:00-15:00 (Monday 1, Sunday 7). Times follow Settings > General > Timezone; use Europe/Vienna for Vienna. No commercial prices or hours are enabled by default.
RiderX remains alongside existing carriers. A complete address, mapped postcode and successful provider preview are required. Hotel orders wait for approval even after payment. In the order editor, use Accept only, Send to RiderX, Accept and send to RiderX, or Decline. Forwarding requires confirmed payment; decline does not automatically refund or void gateway transactions. Existing hotel orders retain manual handling when the setting is later disabled.
Customer zone fees do not alter RiderX account billing. The fixed contract rate is an internal reference only; agree and configure actual account billing with RiderX. Window start is sent as pickup_schedule. The current partner API does not guarantee the window end or allocate capacity. Confirm pickup/arrival timing and service capacity before production.
WooCommerce processing/on-hold customer confirmation waits for hotel acceptance. The courier completed callback does not send WooCommerce’s price-bearing customer completion email for hotel orders. Separate delivery emails contain only the order reference, hotel name, scheduled window and protected status link; hotel completion goes to the configured recipient (otherwise the site administration email). Emails use the shop mail transport and are queued with bounded retries. Verify SMTP delivery, sender authentication, native RiderX SMS/email settings, payment-provider receipts and any third-party email automation in staging. The plugin does not promise control over external notification systems.
Tracking uses verified webhook updates and the native WooCommerce order access checks. No public provider URL is fabricated; an explicitly returned HTTPS RiderX tracking URL may be shown. Guest links retain WooCommerce email verification, registered orders require the account owner. Public display excludes driver contacts, fees and coordinates.
Test the actual custom theme, checkout extensions and payment gateway on staging before deployment. Local compatibility checks are not a guarantee for every theme or custom script.
Languages
Bundled translations: German (Germany), German (Austria), and German (formal). The storefront follows the WordPress site language; the administration follows the user profile language. Select a language in Settings > General or Users > Profile. Custom shipping method names and existing historical order notes are preserved. WooCommerce and other plugins manage their own language packs.
