About this plugin

Many shoppers would rather ask or order in a chat than fill in a checkout form. This plugin adds two things to your shop:

1. “Order via WhatsApp” button on product pages (WooCommerce)

  • Sits right under “Add to cart” and works with classic and block themes.
  • Opens WhatsApp with a ready message: your opening line, the product name, the chosen options (size, colour…), the quantity, the price and the product link.
  • Show it on all products, only on the products you choose, or on all except the ones you choose.
  • Also shows on out-of-stock products, so you can still take the order by chat.
  • Pick the look: filled, outline or soft; small, medium or large; rounded, pill or square; full width or fitted.
  • Shortcode [order_chat_button] to place it anywhere (add product="123" for a specific product).

2. Floating chat and call button on every page

  • WhatsApp chat, a call button, or both (a small menu opens with “Start Chat” and “Call Now”).
  • Your colour, left or right corner, three sizes, circle or rounded square.
  • Optional text next to the button on computers (“Chat with us”).
  • A greeting already typed in the chat.
  • Works without WooCommerce too.

3. Automatic WhatsApp messages (optional, with the LeadTrapper desktop app)

  • Order confirmation, payment received and “your order has shipped” (with the tracking link from WooCommerce Shipment Tracking or Advanced Shipment Tracking).
  • Cash on delivery check: customers who pay later confirm or cancel on WhatsApp. The answer goes on the order, in a “WhatsApp check” column of your orders list and in the Leads page, so you stop shipping fake orders.
  • Abandoned cart reminder: when a shopper types a phone number at checkout and leaves, they get one WhatsApp reminder with a link that puts the same products back in the cart.
  • Connect your WhatsApp by scanning a QR code right in WordPress.
  • A do-not-message list: customers who reply STOP get nothing more until you allow them again.
  • Messages go from your own WhatsApp account through LeadTrapper, a Windows app, while it is open. No WhatsApp Business API needed.

4. Even more for your shop

  • “Order my cart via WhatsApp” button on the cart page: the whole cart, every option and quantity, and the total in one message.
  • Show the floating button on phones only, computers only, or both.
  • Opening hours: show the floating button only when you are there to answer.
  • Hidden on the checkout page by default, so shoppers finish paying.

5. Leads & Clicks page

  • How many times visitors clicked the order, chat and call buttons, for the last 7, 30, 90 days or 12 months.
  • Your WooCommerce orders in one list with name, phone and email. Click a phone number to open a WhatsApp chat with that customer.
  • Order count and order value for the period, plus the value customers confirmed on WhatsApp and the value of fake or cancelled orders you did not ship.
  • Abandoned carts with their reminder status.
  • Download orders and clicks as CSV files.

Private by design

  • Your number is entered once: choose your country from the list and type the local number. The country code is added for you.
  • Click counts hold only the button type, the page and the product name. No names, no IP addresses, no cookies.
  • The plugin loads no outside scripts, fonts or images.
  • Customer data leaves your site only if you switch on automatic messages (see External services).

The buttons are plain links. Nothing is contacted until a visitor clicks:

  • WhatsApp (wa.me): the chat and order buttons open https://wa.me/<your number>?text=<message>, which opens WhatsApp on the visitor’s phone or computer. The link carries your number and the message shown above (for the order button: product name, options, quantity, price and page link). WhatsApp’s terms: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/terms-of-service and privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Phone calls (tel:): the call button opens the visitor’s phone app with your number.

The click counter sends the click to your own WordPress site only.

  • LeadTrapper relay (only if you turn on automatic messages): when you click “Generate connection code”, your site registers with the LeadTrapper relay at https://leadtrapper-wa-relay.mohmmed-sh-z.workers.dev, a mailbox server run on Cloudflare by LeadTrapper. From then on, for each order message it sends the customer’s first and last name, phone number, country, order number, order total and (for shipped orders) the tracking link and carrier; for an abandoned cart reminder it sends the shopper’s first name, phone, country, product names, cart total and the cart link. Your LeadTrapper desktop app collects these messages with your connection code, and they are deleted from the relay when collected (or after 7 days). The settings page also asks the relay for your WhatsApp connection status and QR code, the cash on delivery answers and the do-not-message list. Nothing is sent before you generate a code, and “Turn off automatic messages” stops it. LeadTrapper terms: https://useleadtrapper.com/terms/ and privacy policy: https://useleadtrapper.com/privacy/
