GlobalDev Mega Post Importer

GlobalDev Mega Post Importer provides two administrator-controlled migration workflows:

• WordPress REST API import from a source URL supplied by an administrator.
• CSV import with delimiter detection, column mapping and row preview.

REST imports can preserve post titles, content, excerpts, slugs, publication dates, categories, tags and featured images. If a source post has no featured image, the importer can use the first usable content image as a fallback.

CSV imports support mapped fields for title, content, excerpt, slug, date, status, categories, tags, featured image URL, source ID, source URL and author. Categories can include hierarchy notation.

The importer also provides:

• AJAX source analysis before import.
• Per-post and bulk imports, including force-update / re-import of existing imports.
• Imported / not imported status detection.
• Update and delete actions for previously imported posts.
• Cleanup of media attachments created by the importer when an imported post is deleted.
• Pagination, search and status filters.
• Detailed live import activity logs.
• Safe preservation of supported inline SVG markup.
• Sanitization of imported HTML through WordPress allowlists.
• Removal of source-controlled style and script blocks before imported content is saved.

The plugin contacts only source URLs explicitly supplied by an administrator while performing an import or source analysis. It does not send usage or tracking data to GlobalDev.
