About this plugin

FAQAura AI – FAQ Generator for Elementor adds a drag-and-drop FAQ widget that uses AI to write frequently asked questions and answers for you, then displays them as a clean accordion on the front end.

Two generation modes are available:

  • Product/Service Description — describe what you offer and get relevant FAQs generated instantly.
  • Current Page Content — automatically reads the content of the page the widget is placed on (including Elementor-built pages) and generates FAQs grounded strictly in that content, with no invented facts.

Key features:

  • Native Elementor widget with live, in-editor FAQ generation.
  • Accordion-style front-end display.
  • FAQs are stored as part of the widget’s own settings — no extra database tables, and regenerating is as simple as clicking the button again.
  • Configurable OpenAI model and a per-user hourly rate limit to control API usage.
  • Built with a provider-registry architecture so additional AI providers can be added without touching the widget or AJAX code.

An OpenAI API key (configured under Settings AI FAQ Generator) is required to generate FAQs.

External services

This plugin connects to third-party AI providers to generate FAQ questions and answers. It does not work without a valid API key for at least one of these services, entered by you under Settings AI FAQ Generator.

OpenAI

This plugin sends the text you provide (either your typed product/service description, or the extracted text content of the current page, depending on the generation mode you choose) to the OpenAI API, so that OpenAI can generate FAQ questions and answers from it. This request is made only when you click the “Generate FAQs” button, and includes your own OpenAI API key for authentication. No data is sent automatically or in the background.

This service is provided by OpenAI, L.L.C.: Terms of Use, Privacy Policy.
