External services
This plugin connects to the DocuHook API (https://docuhook.com) to merge JSON data into an HTML template and return a rendered document (HTML/PDF). That connection is required for the plugin to work; PDF generation does not run on your WordPress server.
When you (or your theme/plugin code) call a render, or when you use the admin “Send test render” action, the plugin sends an authenticated HTTPS request to your configured API URL (default: https://docuhook.com). The request includes:
- Your DocuHook API key (Authorization header)
- The JSON
datayou supply (for example order fields you choose to send) - The HTML template string you supply
- Optional filename and sync/async mode
In async mode, the plugin may also request job status and result endpoints for the same job.
No data is sent until you configure an API key and a render is triggered. DocuHook is operated by RG Dev Studio.
