Desarrolloperu Libro de Reclamaciones Lite

v1.1.0 · by desarrolloperu

Libro de Reclamaciones virtual for Peru: receive and manage claims and complaints, with PDF receipts and built-in Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam.

About this plugin

Desarrolloperu Libro de Reclamaciones Lite is a free plugin that lets you offer a Virtual Complaints Book (Libro de Reclamaciones) on your WordPress website and manage every claim and complaint from the dashboard.

It is aimed at businesses and establishments in Peru that need to receive claims and complaints from their customers through the Internet. The plugin interface is in Spanish.

Key Features

  • Public form for claims and complaints, with data validation.
  • Unique consecutive code per year for every case.
  • Status tracking (pending, in progress, resolved, voided) and formal response by email.
  • “Validar Reclamo” page where consumers check the status of their case using the claim code and their document number.
  • PDF receipt generated automatically when a claim is registered, attached to the confirmation email and downloadable from the status page.
  • Inbox with search, pagination and a fully responsive layout.
  • Numeric summary above the inbox (last 15 days) with a date range filter.
  • Optional Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam, configured with your own keys. No extra plugin required.
  • Built-in Help section with frequently asked questions.
  • Works without WooCommerce.

Privacy

This plugin connects to an external license validation server (desarrolloperu.com) only when the user manually enters and activates a license key in the plugin settings. No data is sent or collected automatically.

PDF receipts: when a claim is registered, the plugin generates a PDF with the same data that is sent by email to the consumer. The file is stored in a private folder (outside the public web directory when the server allows it, otherwise inside wp-content/uploads/dps_libro_files protected with an .htaccess file) and is only delivered through a unique, hard-to-guess token link shown after the consumer validates the claim code and document number.

External services

This plugin can optionally connect to Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection service, to protect the public forms (claim submission and claim status lookup) against spam and automated abuse.

This connection is not automatic: it only happens if the site administrator explicitly enables the “Protección Anti-Spam” option in the plugin settings (disabled by default) and enters their own Cloudflare Turnstile Site Key and Secret Key. No additional plugin is required.

When enabled, the plugin loads Cloudflare’s Turnstile script (https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/api.js) on those forms so that Cloudflare can run its bot-detection challenge. As part of this, the visitor’s IP address, user-agent and other browser/connection signals are sent to Cloudflare’s servers. When a form is submitted, the plugin also sends the challenge response token, the Secret Key and the visitor’s IP address from your server to Cloudflare’s verification endpoint (https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/siteverify) to confirm that the visitor is not a bot.
