ContactIn – Contact Form, Lead Capture, CRM & Salesforce Integration
v1.1.5 · by Javed Ahsan
Contact form, lead capture and inbox CRM for WordPress with database storage, Salesforce integration, analytics and reliable delivery.
About this plugin
ContactIn is a WordPress contact form, lead capture and inbox CRM plugin that stores website enquiries in your database and helps you manage leads from capture to follow-up.
Build contact forms with Gutenberg, Elementor or shortcode, automatically capture contacts, organise submissions in a unified inbox, classify enquiry intent, track activity and connect website leads with Salesforce CRM.
Unlike a basic contact form that relies mainly on email notifications, ContactIn creates a searchable contact form database and contact history inside WordPress. Your team gets one workflow for capturing enquiries, managing contacts, following up leads and connecting customer information with CRM workflows.
Contact Form, Lead Capture & CRM in One Plugin
ContactIn brings together the tools businesses commonly need after someone submits a website enquiry:
- WordPress contact form builder
- Lead capture and contact management
- Contact form database storage
- Unified submission inbox
- WordPress CRM workflow
- Salesforce CRM integration
- Lead and enquiry classification
- Contact history and internal notes
- Analytics and reporting
- SMTP and email delivery monitoring
- Spam protection
- Reliable submission processing
Whether you need a WordPress contact form with database storage, a simple CRM workflow for website enquiries or Salesforce integration, ContactIn keeps the process connected from form submission to follow-up.
WordPress Contact Form with Database Storage
Create contact forms and keep every website enquiry organised inside WordPress.
ContactIn supports:
- Native Gutenberg block
- Elementor widget
[contactin_form]shortcode- Configurable form fields
- Form validation
- Responsive forms
- Multiple form profiles
- Consent fields

Instead of depending only on email notifications, ContactIn can store contact form submissions in your WordPress database.

ContactIn turns contact form submissions into organised contact records.
When someone submits a form, ContactIn can automatically capture the contact and maintain information associated with their enquiries.
Contact management features include:
- Automatic contact capture
- Contact profile updates
- Phone number normalisation
- Duplicate detection
- Contact history
- Submission context
- Search and filtering
- Status management
- Internal notes
- CSV and JSON export
This creates a practical lead capture workflow for businesses that want to manage website contacts without manually transferring every enquiry into spreadsheets or separate systems.
WordPress CRM & Unified Inbox
ContactIn provides CRM-style contact and enquiry management directly inside WordPress.
The unified inbox brings contact form submissions into one searchable workspace where teams can review and manage incoming enquiries.
Inbox features include:
- Search and filtering
- Read and unread status
- Archive and spam status
- Bulk actions
- Internal notes
- Contact context
- Duplicate submission detection
- Submission history
- CSV and JSON exports
This makes ContactIn useful for businesses looking for a WordPress CRM workflow built around website enquiries and lead capture.

WordPress Salesforce Integration
Connect ContactIn with Salesforce CRM to move website enquiries from WordPress into your customer management workflow.
When Salesforce integration is configured, ContactIn can send mapped contact form data and related information to Salesforce. This reduces manual data entry and helps teams move website leads from initial enquiry into their existing CRM process.
Salesforce CRM integration includes:
- WordPress contact form to Salesforce workflows
- Configurable field mapping
- Contact synchronisation
- Case and task related workflows
- Sync status visibility
- Optional attachment synchronisation
- Queued processing and retry handling
Salesforce integration is optional and only operates when configured and enabled by the site administrator.

Elementor & Gutenberg Contact Forms
ContactIn works with common WordPress page-building workflows.
Gutenberg
Use the native ContactIn Gutenberg block to add a contact form directly through the WordPress block editor.
Elementor
Use the ContactIn Elementor widget to place contact forms within Elementor pages.
Shortcode
ContactIn also provides the following shortcode:
[contactin_form]
This allows forms to be placed in pages, posts and other shortcode-compatible areas.
Lead & Enquiry Intent Classification
ContactIn helps teams understand why a visitor contacted the business.
Submissions can be classified using keyword-based intent rules such as:
- Sales
- Support
- Feedback
- Complaints
- Questions
Industry-specific profiles help adapt classification to different types of organisations.
Profiles can support businesses in areas such as:
- SaaS and software
- E-commerce
- Professional services
- Healthcare
- Education
- Hospitality
- Banking and financial services
- Insurance
- Legal services
- Real estate
- Construction
- Automotive
- Logistics
- Telecom
- Travel
Intent classification helps teams organise incoming enquiries and identify the type of follow-up that may be required.

ContactIn provides visibility into website enquiry activity rather than treating each form submission as an isolated email.
Analytics and reporting can help you monitor:
- Form submissions
- Submission trends
- Lead and enquiry activity
- Response performance
- Delivery status
This helps businesses understand how website enquiries are being received and handled.
