Blogient – AI Blog Automation

Blogient is a content automation service (blogient.com) that regularly produces SEO-friendly blog posts for your brand. This free plugin is a secure connector between your Blogient account and your WordPress site: posts created in Blogient are delivered to your site as real, native WordPress posts, complete with a featured image, category and SEO meta.

The plugin does not generate content on its own. Content generation runs on your Blogient subscription at blogient.com. The connector function is always active; it never stops working after a trial period or a quota.

External service

This plugin connects to an external service, blogient.com, to receive and publish AI-generated blog content. On connection, your site URL and REST publish endpoint (/wp-json/blogient/v1/publish) are sent to Blogient; article content is sent back to your site over HTTPS, signed with HMAC-SHA256. A paid Blogient subscription is required for content generation.

IndexNow

When a post delivered by Blogient is published (or updated while published), the plugin sends that post’s URL to the IndexNow API (https://api.indexnow.org), which shares it with participating search engines such as Bing. Only the URL of the Blogient post, your site’s host name and a verification key generated on your site are sent; no personal data. The key is served at https://your-site/<key>.txt to prove ownership. Nothing is sent when Settings > Reading > “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” is checked; developers can also turn it off with the blogient_indexnow_enabled filter.
