About this plugin
A wine sommelier for your shop: visitors enter a dish and receive wine suggestions from your own product range. Works with any theme via a floating button, the [bijpassendewijn] shortcode, or below WooCommerce product pages.
A BijpassendeWijn.nl account with a shop ID is required. The widget is part of the paid plans.
External services
This plugin loads the widget.js script from https://www.bijpassendewijn.nl to display the sommelier. When a visitor enters a dish, that question and your shop ID are sent to BijpassendeWijn.nl to generate wine advice. The plugin does not store personal data of visitors.
If you enable the optional assortment sync (Pro Plus), product names, prices, URLs and wine attributes from the selected WooCommerce category are sent to the BijpassendeWijn.nl API. No customer or order data is sent.
