Batra Schema

Batra Schema automatically generates Schema.org JSON-LD structured data for WordPress and WooCommerce, helping search engines better understand your website, content, and products.

It covers the organization, pages, articles, authors, products, categories, and custom catalogs. Activate it and the markup is already on the page. Values come from the site itself: titles, text, images, prices, stock, brands, categories, and custom terms.

• Organization and WebSite entities, including the site search action.
• WebPage, CollectionPage, and SearchResultsPage where appropriate.
• BlogPosting for posts and Article for public custom post types.
• Person data on author archives.
• Thing data for categories, tags, WooCommerce taxonomies, and other public custom taxonomies, including term descriptions and term images when the site has them.
• Links from posts and custom post types to the taxonomy terms that classify them.
• BreadcrumbList with parent pages, parent terms, post type archives, and the shop page.
• ItemList for blog, search, author, date, post type, and taxonomy archives.
• Product structured data for WooCommerce product pages.
• Offer data for simple products.
• AggregateOffer with individual valid variation offers for variable products.
• Price, currency, stock availability, SKU, product gallery, category path, brand, and custom taxonomy properties when available.

Batra Schema does not send site data to an external service and has no required settings screen.

Compatibility

Batra Schema is an independent schema generator. If another plugin or theme also outputs Schema.org markup for the same page, duplicate entities may be produced. Site owners should use one primary schema provider for overlapping schema types.

Developers can disable all Batra Schema output with the batra_schema_enabled filter or modify the generated graph with batra_schema_graph and batra_schema_json_ld.

Additional filters:

• batra_schema_article_type changes BlogPosting or Article to another Article subtype.
• batra_schema_is_article_post_type includes or excludes a custom post type.
• batra_schema_term_type changes the schema type of a custom taxonomy term.
• batra_schema_breadcrumb_taxonomies chooses which taxonomy supplies the breadcrumb path.
• batra_schema_brand_taxonomies adds a custom brand taxonomy.
• batra_schema_term_image_id points a term at its image attachment.
