7BE AI Shelf for WooCommerce

v0.8.0 · by 7beio

Be the store AI recommends. 7BE writes product texts you approve, keeps your feeds and verified reviews, and checks AI answers every week.

About this plugin

Shoppers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI what to buy, and the answer often names another store, sometimes one in your own city. 7BE does the work: AI product texts, feeds, verified reviews and the same shopper questions every week. You approve each change; Undo brings the old text back.

7BE AI Shelf asks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode the questions your shoppers ask, built from your own catalog, and shows:

  • how often the assistants name your store, per assistant;
  • the stores and brands they recommend instead of you;
  • the sites they rely on (marketplaces, forums, reviews, your own site);
  • what to fix first, and an AI-readiness check of your store: AI crawler access, product structured data, reviews, descriptions, categories, images, policies and llms.txt.

One-click fixes, off until you turn them on:

  • product structured data on product pages where WooCommerce does not add its own, with ratings from your reviews;
  • your 7BE rating in each product’s data (Starter plan and up): the rating buyers gave the product in their verified reviews, added where WooCommerce, Rank Math or Yoast WooCommerce SEO have no rating;
  • /llms.txt: your store, categories, popular products and policies, in a form AI assistants read;
  • instant indexing: when you publish or change a product, IndexNow tells Bing and Microsoft Copilot about the page;
  • delivery and returns in product data, as you confirmed them under Feeds in 7BE.

Product texts by AI: for your top products, 7BE writes a new description and a few questions and answers, built only from your own product facts and buyers’ reviews and aimed at the questions shoppers ask AI assistants. You read and edit each text in the 7BE dashboard and apply it with one click; Undo puts back your old description. 1 text a month on Free, 10, 30 or 100 on paid plans.

Feeds for AI shopping, off until you turn them on in 7BE: 7BE keeps your catalog in the files Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Merchant Center (Copilot) and ChatGPT read. The plugin sends it every day, and each product again right after you change it, with its GTIN and every variant. You paste one link into Google and Microsoft once. ChatGPT takes a file only from merchants OpenAI has approved. Free covers up to 100 products.

Verified reviews, off until you turn them on: when an order is completed, 7BE emails the buyer one review request a few days later, and one reminder. Reviews go on your public store profile on 7BE, marked as verified orders, where shoppers and AI assistants read them. Only buyers of real orders can review, and reviews cannot be deleted by the store. Collecting reviews, the profile, the review widget and the badge come with every plan, Free too. You can also show your shop’s existing product reviews on your profile, marked as imported and kept apart from verified ones.

Free: 10 shopper questions in 3 AI assistants, scanned by hand every 7 days; 1 AI product text a month; feeds for up to 100 products.
Starter ($79 a month): weekly scans, 50 questions, the trend and an email after each scan; 10 AI product texts a month; feeds for up to 1,000 products, with missing fields filled by AI; review replies and your 7BE rating in your product data.
Growth ($249 a month): weekly scans, 200 questions product by product, 5 AI assistants, head-to-heads with your top rivals; 30 AI product texts a month; feeds for up to 5,000 products; a review widget for each product and a check of whether AI repeats your rating.
Pro ($599 a month): scans twice a week, 600 questions product by product shared across up to 3 countries, all 6 AI assistants, up to 10 rivals you pick; 100 AI product texts a month; feeds for up to 20,000 products; the review widget and badge in your brand.

External services

This plugin connects your store to the 7BE service (https://7be.io), which runs the scans and shows your dashboard.

  • When you click “Connect store”, the plugin sends 7BE your store address, store name, the email you enter and a random connection code. 7BE then requests a short-lived token from your store’s REST API (/wp-json/sevenbe/v1/verify) to confirm the plugin runs on your site.
  • To scan, 7BE reads your public catalog through the WooCommerce Store API and your public product, policy and robots.txt pages, like a shopper or search engine would. No customer, order or admin data is sent for scans.
  • Only if you tick “Show my product reviews on my 7BE profile”: your shop’s approved product reviews (rating, text, the reviewer’s name as your shop shows it, the product) are sent to 7BE, once and then daily, to show on your profile marked as imported. No reviewer email or IP is sent. Unticking deletes them from 7BE.
  • Only if you turn on “Your 7BE rating in product data”: the plugin reads your store’s public review summary from https://7be.io/api/reviews/your-domain (no data is sent), at most every 6 hours.
  • Only if you turn on verified reviews: each completed order’s number, date and products, and the buyer’s email and name, are sent to 7BE (and, when you turn reviews on, the orders completed in the last 90 days). 7BE uses them only to email that buyer one review request and one reminder, and deletes the email and name 120 days later. Buyers can stop all requests with one click.
  • Once a day 7BE asks the same REST route whether the plugin still runs. While connected it answers with a one-way hash of your store’s 7BE id (never the id or the key); otherwise it says it is not connected. If the plugin stops answering for a few days, 7BE treats the store as disconnected.
  • When you disconnect the store or delete the plugin, the plugin tells 7BE (your store’s 7BE id and the time, signed with its key), so 7BE stops scans and review requests (a paid plan keeps running until you cancel it).
  • On the plugin’s admin page, a connected store’s latest numbers (plan, last scan, how often AI named your products) are read from 7be.io with a request signed by your store’s key, at most every 10 minutes while you open the page. The full dashboard opens on 7be.io in a new tab when you click “Open 7BE dashboard”; nothing from 7be.io is embedded in your admin.
  • Only when you click Apply on a product text in the 7BE dashboard: 7BE sends the new description to your store’s REST route (/wp-json/sevenbe/v1/texts), signed with your store’s key. The plugin saves it as that product’s description and keeps the one it replaces in the product’s data, so Undo in 7BE puts it back. To write texts, 7BE reads your products’ public descriptions through the WooCommerce Store API.
  • Only while feeds are on (you turn them on in the 7BE dashboard): your published products are sent to 7BE once a day and after each change: name, description, link, images, price, sale price, currency, stock status, brand, GTIN, MPN, category and each variant’s options. 7BE keeps them in your feed files. No customer or order data is sent. While connected, the plugin reads whether feeds are on, and the delivery and returns you confirmed, from 7be.io with a request signed by your store’s key, at most every 6 hours.
  • Only if you turn on “Instant indexing (IndexNow)”: when you publish or change a product, the plugin sends the product page’s address and your site’s IndexNow key to IndexNow (https://api.indexnow.org), which shares it with Bing and the other search engines that use IndexNow. Nothing else is sent. IndexNow terms: https://www.indexnow.org/terms. Bing privacy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
  • Payments for paid plans are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page.
